I’ve spent years chasing one thing: why some products click and others just... don’t.
At MrQ, that’s been the obsession. I lead design across product, communication, and game art. We’ve rebuilt how the brand shows up inside the product, how teams use insight, and how design earns its seat at the table. The goal’s always been the same: move design out of decoration and into decisions.
So I like the Director of UX role, it hit the right nerve. You’re building something that matters… used by hundreds of thousands, if not more. One that understands the player, influences the organisation, and raises the quality bar. That’s exactly where I want to be.
In gaming, everyone says they’re player-first. I prefer to prove it before printing it on a slide. 🙃
What I actually do
Turn chaos into systems. Scaled design across teams without flattening creativity.
Make brand tangible. Pulled the voice of the brand into the product itself, not just the comms.
Turn insight into traction. Made research useful, not academic.
Coach for depth and rigour. Built teams that think, not just produce.
